‘Taster Torso’ Weekend

5th & 6th December 2009
Saturday & Sunday - 10am - 4pm

One of the most loved classical images, ‘Taster Torso’ is ideal for complete beginners. Working from a live model using calipers, you will recreate the Torso in clay.

Cost of 2 day Weekend Course £90.00

Figurative Heads Class

Spring 2010 - dates to be confirmed:

either    Monday - Friday - 10am - 3pm over 1 intensive week

or     3 consecutive weekends
Suitable for beginners, this class is based on the traditional sculptors bust. Working from a live model using calipers, you will recreate the head in clay.

Cost of 1 week intensive course £195.00

Half Life Size Figures

Dates to be confirmed
Monday - Friday - 10am - 3pm over 1 intensive week

This class is aimed at students who have already attempted a head or torso. We begin by constructing an armature, then work in clay from a live model using callipers.

Cost of 1 week intensive course £265.00

Drop in Class

Held once a week - I hope to be starting the drop in class up again in 2010 - Dates to be confirmed

This class is available to anyone wishing to develop their own ideas in a studio environment, with the help and support of a tutor and fellow students. Materials costs will depend on each individual project.

Day rate 10am - 2pm - £15.00

    John Smith showed me your sculpture box armature for modelling heads.
    I am interested in doing a head/torso/figure modelling to improve my observation / technical skills.
