Adult Classes
Courses range from half a day or an evening per week, to an intensive one week course. All tuition, materials and the model, are provided.
The class is designed as a study. The finished piece can be photographed or cast at an additional cost into plaster, resin, cement or bronze. In some cases pieces may be suitable for firing or air drying clay can be used to avoid the need and expense of casting.
Figurative Heads
Ideal for complete beginners, this class is based on the traditional sculptors bust. Working from a live model using calipers, you will create the head in clay.
Half Lifesize figures
Capturing the essence of a pose using scale measurements taken using calipers, to create a half life size figure. You will be creating an armature and working over it in clay.
Half Lifesize torso
One of the most loved classical images, the torso is another class suitable for beginners.
